I spent the 3rd cleaning house with a (very energetic and productive) girlfriend of mine. Good thing too because I woke up at 2 experiencing some pretty strong contractions. This was after a few weeks of very few contractions. I was uncomfortable (and concerned) enough to get up and make sure that all the bags were packed.
But today is July 5th and the baby is still baking.

Perhaps she will arrive early rather than later? I had fun on Thursday. Perhaps we can do that again post-birth! ;-)
A friend of mine had her baby in Cambridge at 9pm on the 4th... her room had a perfect view of the fireworks (from the big Boston Pops extravaganza). It's a nice birth story, considering she labored for 18 hours on Father's Day just to have it completely stall for a few weeks, poor girl. Hopefully your second labor will be swift!
