One Month Old

I am one month old today. This must be significant because my big sister spent the afternoon making cupcake with my mom. She even put a candle in one and blew it out for me.

I thought it would be a very good idea to stay up late enough to see the actual moment I was born so here it is 11:40 and I am still awake.

Sisters

Everyone says we look alike. Here are photos of us both at about one month of age.

Related? You tell us... BTW, S is the top and A is the bottom photo.

My only comment is what am I doing taking pictures when I should be taking a nap too?!

Bath and Bottle

I've survived another bath. This time I almost enjoyed it. I think my mom's favorite part was the fact that this time I didn't poop in the tub or pee on her.

I enjoyed the warm water and gentle rubbing, but it was just mom and I so I missed having my big sister help. I've become quite attached to S. I'm very good at tracking her movements as she races around the house and brings toys to share with me.

In other news, I also tried my first bottle today. Actually, I tried the bottle three times today. I never had any milk but I did try it.

Imaginary Friends

I'm collecting a menagerie of friends. I started out with elephants. Now I also have snakes and snails of all different colors. They can be snatched out of thin air and I generally hold them in the palm of my hands.

Sometimes at meals I feed them. Other times I set them up with some of my books or most prized toys. Often I just hand them to mom or dad to hold, and then I yell at them if they hold their hands in a manner that implies they might have dropped them. Keeping an eye on those two is hard work!

Silly Chicken

Dad told me a joke last night. It was my first joke and I found the concept rather interesting. Dad suggested that I tell the joke to mom in the morning.

So this morning, in the middle of breakfast, I turned to mom and informed her, "That chicken is silly." Mom laughed and asked why the chicken was silly so I explained, "Because it crossed the road. It is a joke. It is silly." She definitely laughed so I must have a talent for joke telling.

Bath Time

I had another bath last Tuesday. Current bath count is 3: one at the hospital with dad and the nurse, one sponge bath at home with mom, my big sister, and my grandma g, and this bath with mom, S, and my dad.
I'm still not quite sure what to make of them. Each bathing experience was unique. About the only consistent parts of each bath is that it involves water and somehow during the process I end up pooping at least twice and peeing all over mom.
